Six seats, six chances to make your mark. Two are reserved for affiliate members — because the best ideas for MCBA's future don't only come from attorneys.
Your board service will start in January of 2027 and is a two-year term.

ARTICLE II

Nomination Requirements

Every nominee must be a member of the MCBA and submit all three of the following. Incomplete packets may not be considered.

A

Candidacy Letter

A letter formally declaring your candidacy for the Board of Directors, signed by you and addressed to the Executive Director.

B

Biographical Statement

Not to exceed 200 words. May optionally include your vision and priorities for the Association.

Photograph

A recent color photograph of the candidate.

Submission & Deadline

Choose one submission method and send your complete packet — Items A, B, and C together.

Written Submission

Mail your signed letter, biographical statement, and a printed photograph to the MCBA office, attention Executive Director.

Mark your calendar: September 15, 2026. All materials must be received by the Executive Director on or before this date — postmark date doesn't count, so give yourself time. We can't wait to see your name on the ballot.
