Nominations Now Open for Paralegal Division Board
Make your nominations for the board between now and Sept. 20. Any paralegal currently employed in that capacity who is an active MCBA member and residing in Maricopa County is eligible. Feel free to nominate yourself. Go here for complete details on eligibility and how to make a nomination.
Paralegal Division Seeks "Member of the Year" Nominations
The 2010 Arizona Paralegal Conference is fast approaching (Oct. 1) and we need nominations for Member of the Year. This award will recognize a MCBA Paralegal Division Member who has made extraordinary contributions during the year that have had a positive and demonstrable impact on the MCBA Paralegal Division and have furthered the mission of the Division, as outlined in our Mission Statement. The award winners will be announced and presented at the 2010 Arizona Paralegal Conference, Friday, October 1, at The Hyatt Regency, Downtown Phoenix. Go here for more complete information. Annual Arizona Paralegal Conference October 1!
The 2010 Arizona Paralegal Conference is set for Friday, Oct. 1, at the Hyatt Regency Phoenix. As it has for the last 10 years, this conference this promises to deliver excellent programs, plenty of peer networking opportunities and great exhibits. 2010 Arizona Paralegal Conference Committee Seeks Volunteers
The Conference Committee meets monthly on Wednesday evenings through September. The conference is scheduled for Friday, October 1, 2010. Preparing for the CLA Exam? Take These Review Courses and Excel!
Fifteen of Arizona's best certified paralegals will take you through a series of review sessions on Saturdays, Aug. 14, 21 and 18. Each session lasts from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a 50-minute brown-bag lunch break.Our experienced instructors will review sections of the exam, share their personal experiences,and provide suggestions on best practices for exam preparation. These courses will give you the confidence and composure to pass the September CLA exam with flyig colors.
Please note that the CLA Review Course is NOT a test prep course, but rather an instructor-led study group intended to provide insight, test preparation tips, and study tools. Registration is open until Aug. 12, but books cannot be guaranteed to be available at the first session. No walk up registrations, please.
