Mission Statement
The Maricopa County Bar Association is a vehicle of service for the benefit of its members, the legal profession, the judicial system, and the public.
The mission of the MCBA shall be carried out through:
Service to its members by representing them in matters of generally common interest, by assisting them in enhancing their abilities and professional growth, in improving their deliver of legal services, and in fulfilling their professional responsibilities, including pro bono service, and by cultivating their social interaction among them.
Service to the legal professional by maintaining the honor and dignity of the profession, by fostering public respect for the trust in the members of the profession, and by advocating the interests of the profession.
Service to the public by providing leadership in the improvement of the law and the justice system, by promoting access to a fair, effective and affordable system of justice, by increasing public understanding of the law, and by promoting the highest standards of professional competence and ethical conduct among all members of the legal profession.
In all areas of service, the MCBA encourages and supports diversity in the legal profession and the judicial system. The MCBA supports fair opportunities for attorneys and all persons regardless of their ethnic background, religion or gender.
